THE DECEMBER TRAIN COLLECTOR IS OUT
Another great issue is on its way to members if it has not already arrived. The big news is that this is Pat Hammond's last issue as editor. Pat established the Train Collector ten years ago as the (new and improved) successor to the "TCS News" and since then has produced 41 issues of what is generally recognised as a superb magazine about toy and model trains. So a big thank you to Pat for what he has contributed to the Society and the hobby with this work.
We are also very pleased to announce that we have a new editor, Nicholas Oddy, who is also pretty well known in our world. Nicholas will take over with the March issue and we look forward to many more great Train Collectors under his hand. Pat will remain as Consultant Editor for the transition.
The other major news, already announced on this website, is that the TCS is organising a photo competition for a virtual calendar for 2017. Closing date is December 20th. For more details just click here.
