SUMMARY:La Hotte St Nicolas
DESCRIPTION:It seemed appropriate to show a train set in 0 gauge from a manufacturer with a very seasonal name ( the toy sack of Santa Clause or St Nicolas as he is better known in France) they produced a couple of clockwork short 4 wheel diesel locos one in a set with tipper wagons and a most unusual set consisting of a diesel loco with a long double decker car carrier wagon and a long crane wagon. They were well made with good clockwork mechs and because of their width resemble more gauge 1 for narrow gauge track. There is some difference of opinion as to their history however one renowned book states that these were made by the Pintel Brothers for the Train Factory and were only in production for a short time in the 60's.  The picture shows the car carrier mounted with ETS VW beetles made to run on 0 gauge track. \nLa Hotte 0 gauge set
