SUMMARY:2017 TCS Public Summer Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The 2017 TCS Summer Show will be held at a new and much larger venue\, Stantonbury Arts & Leisure Centre in Milton Keynes on Saturday 15 July 2017. This is a large light hall in a modern building just a short drive from the M1. \nWe will be using the venue’s large main sports hall allowing for more displays and traders and nice wide aisles. These premises will be far better for the show than last year's venue at Biggleswade which was very cramped and exhibits had to be spread over a number of smallish rooms. We have a total of 23 exhibits (see below) and 22 traders on 49 tables (we are now fully booked for space). Food and refreshment catering is on the mezzanine floor overlooking the hall.  There is a public accessible gallery running around the hall on two sides so we hope many of the hundreds of visitors using this sports and leisure facility many will be tempted to come down and visit the show as well. \nThere will be 23 layouts and displays\, as follows: \nRoyale Les Eaux 00 scale electric James Bond inspired model railway David Rhodes\n0 gauge electric tin plate layout pre & post-war with Britains figures & Triang Minic vehicles Dave Peasant\nTri-ang Minic Motorways electric layout David Lyon\nHornby Dublo 3 rail featuring pre war tin plate BR and super detailed stock Roger White & Don Hall\nTT gauge trains beyond Tri-ang based on items produced for TT trains 1957 – 1970’s Eric Large\nTri-ang Transcontinental 00 gauge with overhead on multi levels using standard track Neil Smith\nTri-ang Big Big Trains\, battery operated running on 0 gauge track from 1966 – 1972 Stephen Smith\nTri-ang Hornby 00 gauge presenting Ford’s Dagenham works Dave White\n“Foul Anchor” 0 gauge tin plate trains representing the M&GN in Fen Country Rachel & Bill Vyse\nVintage live steam 0 gauge railway mainly from the 1930’s era Trevor Findley\n“Paltry Circus” 0 gauge tiny terminus inspired by Henry Greenly prior to WW1 Kevin Payne\n“Sandy” vintage gauge 1 trains from Bing & Carette for Bassett Lowke & Marklin David Knighton\nS Gauge American Flyer trains made between 1946 -1959 Neil Trump\nLego extended layout John Forman\nBritish “Cheap and Cheerful” 0 gauge tin plate trains made in the UK Bryan Pentland Show Manager TCS\nLima 0 gauge trains from the 70’s & 80’s with most of the UK outline trains Paul Chapman\n“Micro Marx USA” 0 gauge tin plate  a vintage layout run on just 30” square Paul Williams Treasurer TCS\n“Notso Hornby Dublo” 3 rail adapted Dublo rolling stock and track & other vintage accessories Kip Bennett\nThe great 0 gauge toy trains of George Carette manufactured before WW1 David & Amalia Ramsey\nTri-ang Transcontinental models from 1954 -1970’s including those made at Margate Reg Harman\n“Gamages London Terminus” 1950’s on 00 gauge track including Emu’s & steam outline trains David Nevett\nTrains of the 1950’s - 00 gauge lesser known makes mostly kit built David Holt\nTri-ang TT ( Table Top) 3mm scale 1957 – 1964 David Coddington \n  \nThere will also be 22 traders present\, including: \nColin Toten 0 gauge trains\nDave Peacock Leeds Stedman Trust LMC spares\nNicholas Oddy used model railways\, Editor of the TCS Magazine Train Collector\nBill Bourne used model railways\nAndrew Dayton used model railways\nChris Ford toy train spares\nSimon Goodyear expert on 0 gauge trains\nDave Pink LMS and pre group\nAndrew Kwasniewski various model and toy trains\nMike Delaney Vintage Hornby and other high quality 0 gauge trains\nSteve Knight Kitmaster Club trains and spares\nRobert Jachacz toy trains\nBob Field Hornby Dublo trains\nGraham Coleman GC Models all gauge of trains\nBob Leggett toy trains and TCS Committee member\nElaine's Trains co sponsor of the show Tri-ang and Hornby Margate with a splash of continental HO\nPeter Berry Graham Farish trains\nAlastair Cameron toy train sales\nTony Penn toy trains\nPeter Lumsdon\nLen Mills Ace Trains\nDave Angell Tri-ang trains  - co sponsor of the show\nPlus of course a TCS Club Stand \n  \nThere is plenty of parking space at the venue\, which is a few miles from junction 14 on the M1 (and about 20 miles west of Biggeswade).  There is a train station near the venue and we are hoping to run a mini bus service to the leisure centre. \nOpening times: 10.30 to 5.00 pm.
