Our friends of the "Spielisenbahn" seem to have started the new year well!
Here are some photos of a get-together held over the three days Epiphany weekend – it warrants a public holiday in Southern Germany - in a commercial greenhouse belonging to one of the members (apparently he grows many plants for sale at Christmas so in the New Year he has a little time and space for the trains to be set up temporarily!) The focus is live steam and clockwork (of many sorts) though the member with the Standard Gauge trains was clearly allowed to run his electric trains.
