As I am sure you know, KATO is the major Japanese model railway producer. Hidden away in a residential suburb of Tokyo is their visitor centre. When I was there in 2012 their display claimed to have one copy of every model ever made by the company. It is without doubt the most fascinating large display I have seen. As well as Japanese prototypes they are a huge producer of USA outline in both HO and N. Below I share with you some of my photographs. I know this sounds corny, but if you are ever in Tokyo, this is worth a visit!
