In Issmayer Trains – The Missing Catalogue I traced the history of trains produced by Johann Andreas Issmayer through other manufacturers’ and wholesalers’ catalogues. Issmayer made toys for Karl Bub and the two companies worked together for 45 years.
In this new book, Issmayer & Bub – The Secret History I have returned to the link between these two companies and put all these trains into a chronological order. Little is known about the early years of both of these companies, but by using illustrations from catalogues and toys from collectors around the world I have tried to fill some of the gaps.
