24th Alresford Festival of Toy Trains
The Alresford Festival of Toy Trains which took place last Saturday (18th June) was another great toy train day out. This was the 24th such show (organised as ever by TCS Committee Member Bob Leggett) and it did not disappoint as over 600 visitors enjoyed the variety of layouts, over 80 sales tables plus live music, BBQ and Real Ale. Live steam, vintage and modern ‘model railways’ as well as toy systems such as LEGO, BRIO and Faller Hit Train were all there. This year an extension to the School’s Assembly Hall gave extra space too. For a fuller report please go here.
