From the editor Nicholas Oddy
Welcome to TC 80, that’s 16 years of TCs in the format that Pat Hammond introduced, now the established one. Another five years will take it into three-figures. Will it be possible?
Something to ponder on in three or four years’ time when the money runs out. In the meantime, it’s business as usual.
First, Graham Bilbé was quick to notice Bryan Pentland’s comment as to the future of the TC in the June issue and has written an interesting response, which appears on p4.
Second, an apology to Martin Dawes, who I wrongly named Michael in the last issue. Michael Dawes was well known in the world of Hornby 0, but not someone I’d associate with coarse-scale rail cleaning wagons.
Third, I’m rather concerned that I’m short of material on 00/H0/TT/N. Thanks to Jonathan Perks and Fred Van Der Lubbe we have copy this month, but I could do with more.
