Our Photo of the Month for August is Sunny South Sam from Steven Travers.

"As you can see, the photo is based on the iconic Southern Railways Poster - i’m taking an early holiday cos i know summer comes soonest in the south. Whilst very much an amateur at photography, it is part of a theme for photos involving my collection of O gauge, emulating famous paintings and iconic pictures, on a steam train theme.
The characters in the photo are;
Hornby O gauge Schools Class Eton loco
Hornby O gauge Signal Box
Hornby O gauge Footbridge
Hornby O gauge platform ramp
Hornby O gauge track
and a couple of reproduction figures"
The title refers of course to the character who features in much of the Southern's publicity of this sort - Sunny South Sam.
