Our Photo of the Month for March is Model-Land WCML from Les Martin
Les tells us about his layout and this photo "It depicts a typical scene on the WCML in the 1960s. The layout is purely Tri-ang (with the addition of Britain's trees) - their range of models is seemingly endless. It has been around 10 years since I was first persuaded to start exhibiting, and this was the first time I have had the courage to try using catenary. It brings the appearance of a layout to a whole new level! Though different every year, our Tri-ang/Minic layout is to be seen annually at the Four Marks show, in Hampshire. This is held over a week-end in mid May in a beautiful location, which is also served by the Mid Hants Railway. The sun always seems to shines here! A larger layout normally follows at the Alresford show in June - Les says he would be in big trouble if he did not mention this!"
