The massive scale of the Gaydon show seems to have defeated our intrepid reporter Bob Leggett, who seems not to have ventured far enough, missing Roy Sinclair’s display of military Marx 0 gauge trains on the balcony. This comprised a ‘small but sweet’ oval of track on appropriately camouflaged baseboard well populated with Marx litho-tinplate ’flats’ and a row of colourful and tubby-looking tanks. On another table an impressive array of Marx army trains waited for action. Apologies are due to Roy for having been missed from last issue’s report.
